Our Story

From humble beginnings making candles for our children to sell at sausage sizzles and stalls at Nambour and Toowoomba markets, Nambour Heights Gifts & Christmas Shop has flourished into a thriving business. As owners of a butchery, we often used to joke, if we had a bakery we could advertise as The Butcher, The Baker and The Candle Stick Maker. The store next door to our butchery became available for lease, so rather than be at the mercy of the weather on market days, we took a risk and opened Nambour Heights Gifts & Christmas Shop. At first, we had very little stock and started with small hay bales as shelving, but a year later we said farewell to the bales as the families of geckos started to take over. It’s funny looking back to see how our small hobby has transformed into a beautiful gift shop brimming with scented candles, soaps and bath bombs, homewares, pottery and unique gift ideas. Now we’ve launched our Christmas Shop section and we couldn’t be more excited. We love seeing customers reactions when they walk into our little Christmas Shop. The joy it brings to their faces is just priceless! We look forward to years of repeat customer experiences.
